“Time Loves a Hero”

Little Feat, formed in LA in 1969 by Lowell George, is steeped in New Orleans funk grooves and blends rock and blues into the fold to create an infectiously joyous sound.

This show is from 8/9/99 at Cuthbert Ampitheatre in Eugene, OR, a double bill with the Neville Brothers. At that time they consisted of founding members, Billy Payne on keys, and drummer Richie Haywood. Paul Barrere on guitar, Kenny Gradney on bass, and percussion Sam Clayton, all members since 1972. Fred Tackett on guitar, mandolin and trumpet (since 1977), and vocalist Shawn Murphy (with the band from 2003-2009).
